Note: This product's usefulness is diminished or even made void by the introduction of a similar (and more capable) tool by Martin Granberg. Tracktime for GPL is still available here primarily because we feel that it would be a waste to just delete it. You may find it useful. Or not. In any case it's a relatively small download.

Tracktime for GPL allows you to (manually) record lap times for Grand Prix Legends add-on tracks. It will display (but won't let you edit) the same information for all the standard tracks, too. You can build a nice HTML page from the total results, export the whole set as an XML file, etc. It supports multiple drivers and auto-detects all your installed tracks.

If nothing else you could use the includes source code for your own purposes: It's all Java JFC/Swing code. . .
