Product Quick Summary: Split
Description Splits any binary or text file into even-sized blocks, either based on a line-count or on a byte-count. This will allow you to easily split large files into nicely sized chunks that fit on multiple floppy disks for easy transport via sneaker net.

Re-assembly of the files is already available via the Amiga's join command (join file1 file2 as origfile)

History

This is yet another of these ultra-simple tools that everyone seems to feel the need to reinvent. Well, I wrote this one in the mid-80s, so it wasn't exactly like a million of them were already floating about.
